The Nokia 8800 Posted by Hello

Remember the sliding phone from Nokia, well it was a rage in it'w time, and it was a rage in THE MATRIX.. Well the Slider is back, this time as the Nokia 8800. Planned for a Release in the 2nd Quarter of 2005, Nokia is launching this phone, which boasts of features like

  • Durable stainless steel covers
  • Fine-pitched screen protected by scratch-resistant glass window
  • Active TFT display with 262,144 colors ( 208 x 208 pixels )
  • Tri-band operation GSM coverage on up to five continents (GSM 900/1800/1900 networks)
  • Polyphonic (MIDI) tones with up to 64 voices; plus support for AAC and, MP3 ringing tones
  • SVGA Camera
.
The phone looks cool from what I have seen and read of it. The looks alone will make sure I go down to the Nokia Store for a dekko at it.
